Really enjoying this new poster by Randy Ortiz for Ken Mode and Deafheaven’s 2011 Summer Tour. The process was found on Randy Ortiz’s Facebook Fan page. Randy has an Etsy Page here, but as far as I can tell this poster is only for promotional purposes. Really wish I could get my hands on a screen printed one though, Check out Randy’s page for some process shots of other prints he has done.
More process after the jump!

The Coathangers have a new split out with The Numerators called Chicken 30. I wouldn’t expect anything less from the Coathangers than lots of blood and fun! That’s why I love this Record cover. You can pick it up from Suicide Squeeze here.
This record is limited to 500 copies (100 opaque red, sold out) & 400 (black). The Coathangers & The Numerators first got it together on the road in the summer of 2009: Atlanta’s favorite ladies were touring behind “Scramble,” while the Lubbock boys were kicking it in the sun, rocking their local haunts. Their quick fling of shared dates and stages turned out to be a productive one, culminating in this split single.

Will has worked with the band before to create this picture disc which is a little more clear of how this all works.
